It is said and experienced. The harsh Climate effects especially the dry spells are what many farmers are facing in their pursuit for profitable Agriculture. Hotter days mean less productivity of pasture land and hence direct impact on livestock production. Inadequate pasture means inadequate feed intake and hence low milk production and body quality. At the face of these challenges, adaptation is the way to go. Growing drought tolerant and high yielding pasture types will build farmer resilience against climate change. Super Napier (Packchong) is a game changer for all livestock farmers; Dairy, Beef, Goat, Sheep etc. This is also very important for small holder farmers to maximise output from small pieces of land.
