You can hike up to the caldera located on top of Gisozi hill, this is looking out of the nearby town which is Kisoro town as well as the Bunagana tow and Lake Mutanda. There are several other captivating features that you will see once you get up hill.

This is easiest nature walks you can take good for those that cannot handle either hiking or walking for long. This walk takes about 40 minutes, Starting from Mgahinga gorilla national.

Atrip along the valley towards the large trading centre called Busanza will allow you to see brick making and farmland. Branching off from the main road will take you to the small waterfalls and a chance to stretch your legs and explore the area. This walk will take you into the hustle and bustle of a typical African town on market day. You can experience the vibrant atmosphere as you travel through the market among the local people selling their produce. Many people choose to buy colourful African material and have a local tailor turn it into an item of their choice such as skirts, aprons, shirts, table cloths and curtains. Kisoro market is common on Monday and Friday, Located along Kabale- Kisoro road! If you happen to be in Kisoro on Monday or Thursday it's worth to visit the market Either after gorilla trekking or golden monkey in Mgahinga gorilla national park where gold meets sliver.

Taking a steep path of uphill behind Kisoro international vocational institute and Muhabura shine high school , you will be able to walk along the top of the Nyaruyaga Hills in the Nyaruyaga village , Northward division ,Kisoro municipality taking in the views of Lake Mutanda on one side and Kisoro town on the other. When the weather is clear you will be able to see the Virunga Mountain Range(Mt. Muhavura ,Mt.Sabyinyo and Mt.Gahinga) to the south(13km) and Bwindi impenetrable national park to the North, The homes of endengered mountain gorillas ( 38 km) You will pass a few homesteads and then reach open space for a chance to sit and relax taking in the panoramic views. A scramble down the hill forging your own path will lead you to the road or continue with your walk down to the Lake Mutanda, here you can add on extra activities like canoeing , birdwatching and otterviewing among others!

The trail has got stunning views and to go from Buhoma to Nkuringo takes 7 hours but it's much shorter taking the Kashasha river trail which takes 5 hours in length and its difficulty level is moderate and more scenic especially the different bird species, plants and flowers.
