While we celebrate the festival, we know that celebration means little when some families are still struggling to put food on the table.

Your friend needs help

You know that Karamoja is known for its rich culture and resilient people. But right now, families across our community are facing a severe crisis that we cannot ignore.

A severe drought driven by extreme climate patterns has destroyed seasonal crops and dried up local water sources across northeastern Uganda.

According to Oxfam, over 470,000 people nearly half of the region’s population are currently facing crisis-level hunger. Over 100,000 young children, elderly people and mothers are at immediate risk of acute malnutrition.

When a friend or neighbor is going through such a tough time, we step up to support them.

We are raising funds to support our partner communities’ food relief campaign, providing essential supplies including maize flour, beans,sugar,salt and cooking oil directly to households in the hardest-hit remote areas.

Every donation helps purchase food locally and deliver it to families in urgent need.
