Here are some interesting facts about leopards in Uganda:
They are found in many national parks throughout the country including; Queen Elizabeth National Park, Murchison falls National park and Lake Mburo National Park. Queen Elizabeth NP is particularly known for having a healthy leopard population.
Leopards are well-camouflaged with their spotted coats which help them blend in with the savanna and the forest environments.
Unlike lions which live in prides, leopards are solitary creatures.
The only time you will see them together is when a mother is raising her cubs.
Leopards are excellent climbers and can be often found in trees, stalking prey or relaxing in the shade.
Leopards are nocturnal animals, so chances of sighting them in the night are high.

Amidst the tranquil beauty of Lake Mburo National Park, we are amused by the dignified Zebras quenching there thirst.
The striking Zebras seems to wear the colours of twilight, with its silhoute cast in the brilliant greenish water accentuating the stripes that define its uniqueness.
Gazing at this video, one cannot help but be mesmerised by the tranquil yet resplendent allure of the African Savanna. The Zebra stands as a symbol of nature's artistry, and in twilight moment, it exudes quiet strength and grace. It is a testament to the serene harmony of Lake Mburo, where the wilderness and its inhabitants coexist with all the surrounding has to provide.

The shoebill is a large, elusive, stalk-like bird with an almost prehistoric appearance due to its oversized shoe-shaped beak. They are sometimes referred to as ‘Whaleheads,' for obvious reasons.

Shoebills can stay motionless for hours, so their prey may not notice them looming until it's too late. The birds practice a hunting technique called “collapsing,” which involves lunging or falling forward on their prey.
