We are thrilled with the new privacy windscreen installed at the Monroe County, Ms Sheriff’s Department Outdoor Training Facility!

Through creative design and strategic branding, the project transforms a necessary piece of infrastructure into a community asset. One that promotes beauty, belonging, and stronger bonds between citizens and those who protect and serve them.

This placemaking improvement project is a partnership with the Sheriff’s Department and Aberdeen Visitors Bureau.

We appreciate the support from Rubel West Monroe County Supervisor District 3 and Monroe County Supervisor Fulton Ware and Mississippi Main Street Association Community Development Grant.

Adding even more charm to Downtown Aberdeen!

Big things are happening downtown today! 🎉

Aberdeen Main Street is excited to share that our new downtown banners are being installed by the incredible crew at Aberdeen Public Utilities! These seasonal banners are a visible beautification project adding even more color, pride, and personality to our historic downtown district.

Projects like this are about more than decorations — they help create a welcoming atmosphere for residents, visitors, shoppers, and event guests while continuing to build the vibrant downtown experience Aberdeen deserves.

A huge THANK YOU to Aberdeen Public Utilities and Mississippi Main Street Association for helping bring this vision to life and for all the work happening behind the scenes today. Be sure to look up as you drive through downtown and enjoy the fresh new look! 💙
