Difficult to tell in this picture, but this bug is 3 inches long. Pincers will draw blood if you let 'em. Known as a Hellgrammite in nymphal form, Dobsonfly as an imago. Aquatic insect, spends its first two years under water. Big flies for big fish. Float the foam. They eat the nymphs also, but dries are more fun. Dropper if you dare. It's that season.... Own it.

It was a Foam Party last night at Tumbling Creek Cider! We tied a foam beatle and a foam damselfly. Tools of the trade. Foam. Fish tales. Friends. Fantastic drinks. Good times. Thanks to all who made it, and if you couldn't be there this month, stayed tuned for the next.
