Went to the South Carolina Aquarium!! Small but the views and child friendly was cool!! They did a great job and staff was great with questions. It was definitely a must see as you see tanker ships before they load onto trucks to transport!!

Stopped at Folley Beach this morning! Only a 15 minute drive. Cute little beach town and places to rent and stay! We had oysters for lunch and they did not disappoint. It was so good!!

USS Yorktown! My dad is a Navy guy and this did not disappoint. I saw a day to day of life on a ship of what my dad’s life was like. It is a must see!!

I have a small trip planned just to get away. Only 5 hours from ATL. Follow along this Sunday to see my adventures! I do have some small excursions along the way. There is always fun things to see along the way, and I really love to drive to my destination!!

If you had one day for one park, what would you choose? Mine has always been Epcot. Not for the drinking, but I’ve been known to try a few. I love the way they made the park with science and technology, (Walt’s dream of a future) also you could be immersed into a destination. You have people that work there for each destination you go to along world showcase, and they are from that place. If you take the time to ask them questions too. It’s like taking a cruise but on land.
I’m always available to give you quotes and help save you money. I have over 200 trips over the years with on-site and offsite stays. I am a mother of 4 kids, but I can give you ins and outs to help you save and sanity of trying to figure it out in your own!!

So I said I’d post pictures in another post of the food at Hoop Dee R***e! You definitely will not leave hungry!!! And of course there are gluten free options. The smaller dessert in picture is gluten free!
Definitely a family favorite!

Spotlight Hoop-Dee-Doo R***e

If you’re on the fence or think it’s too old and not worth it? You are wrong!
It’s a short ride in the boat from MK to fort Wilderness. You get transported into a new world of rustic, laid back era of yesteryear. Growing up I have stayed here plenty. They have a general store and horse ranch you don’t want to miss. That’s for another adventure post!
Once you get checked in and they know what allergies you have (yes they have gluten free options) it is served family style and all you can eat. My great friend R Harper joined me on this nostalgic journey and she has allergies. No worries, she had an allergy free meal and I had a non allergy free meal. So everyone in your group is not confined to one or the other. They serve in courses so you get cornbread and salad and start the show. Now as you are eating they serve the main while watching the show and they will go into the audience and they will enteract with people. Kids will not be bored with this as at all. There is a lot to keep them entertained. There was a lot of families there. After everyone is full from the main course ( I will show pictures of food in another post) it just got better with dessert and of course those with allergies will get a separate dessert. With dessert they give you instruments to play along with them and you can’t help yourself just to play along. It’s really a fun time with family and you will make new friends with the tables around you. They do a really great job with this dinner and have multiple options of time to go. Just expect to laugh and have fun! Did I mention the adults do get beer/wine included too!!
You have to do this once to prove me wrong!!

It's been awhile since I have posted anything travel wise. Life takes unexpected turns, but don't get derailed by my stunning train track photo! The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step... on the track.
I have been taking this time to learn more about destinations and how to get you there. I know a lot of you like to use Sam’s club, Airbnb, Costco. As those are all great and, you may pay $100 less than what I can give sometimes. Sometimes I can match it, but I can give you more quality service. You will not be waiting on hold for hours listening to music if something happens or itinerary is wrong. These companies make the same commission as I, but it does not trickle down to the employee that actually booked it. I am a small business minded individual with only my clients in mind. I do not take on more than I can handle and, if there something I can not help with I definitely find you someone who can. I have amazing group of like minded agents that are doing the same as me. So next time you want to click that book button on Expedia think about what kind of service you are going to get!!
