A couple friends of the Fraternal Order stopped by last week for Event No. 10...frickin' hilarious supper guests.

(3.13.13) Number 10 was, well, hilariously delicious. Mr. Lewis Black the comedic genius along with an equally side splitter, John Bowman. We dined on an ALL Michigan wild game supper; Braised Black Bear with Brandy Ketchup with Root Veg and topped off with Pommes Duchess Taters from McBain, Venison Serrano and Venison Scaloppini from Lowell, Gin Salmon Gravlox from Pentwater, Cassoulet Pheasant Confit with Lamb Belly, Bleu Cheese Gelato & Candied Bacon Intermezzo, and so on and so forth. Local spirits from Amir at Artesian Distillers and growler upon growler of 4-5 local breweries liquid goodness. Harmony, Founders, Pub 57, GR Brewing. The chef Michael McKay Slayed it! And he's begging us to perform again soon with his mischievous sidekick, Jameson Ewigleben. Stay tuned as the Order is contemplating the ramp/morel season!

Did hear that one of the 6 or 7 courses (for F.O.O.D. No. 9) involves a 'Glassed Dungeness Gazpacho Shooter or some such'.
