Here's a quick "tour" of our Avalon ship. We had a suite cabin with an open room "balcony." It was wonderful. If you would like to take a trip down the Rhine, Danube, or both (like we did), or explore other waterways reach out to me! We don't charge any extra fees and we do all the leg work!

Our stop today was Cologne, Germany. We visited the Cologne Cathedral. This cathedral took 600 years to build. The city of Cologne was basically destroyed during World War II, but the cathedral survived. It is said to hold the bones of the three magi (this story has been handed down since mid-evil times).

We had a lot of "liquid sunshine" (as the Dutch say) but we still enjoyed the morning. We took a canal cruise and then walked around town. So much to see! We are now on our ship, the Avalon Visionsary, and heading to Cologne, Germany. More adventure awaits!
