River Adventures Outfitters We allow our visitors to come between 9am until 1pm to be put in the river. LAST PICKUP TIME will be at 5:30

After 1pm we stop putting in & are then strictly picking up & returning you to your cars.

Well, Mother Nature made the decision for us. 😭

Due to EXTREMELY LOW river levels, River Adventures will be CLOSED Friday, September 4th through Monday, September 7th.

And this picture pretty much say it all.

We promised y’all FLOATING, not a River Adventures Walk-a-Thon 🤣

We just can’t give our floaters the river experience we want you to have & since we use AIR TUBES, these river levels aren't doing our tubes any favors either!

As much as we HATE to close, this is the right call for our floaters, our tubes & our river crew

We need some RAIN!

We know everyone is wondering......ARE WE FLOATING THIS WEEKEND?!

Right now, we’re still deciding.
We haven’t had rain in WEEKS and the river is VERY LOW. And y’all know us, we’re an AIR TUBE kinda place 😎

We want you floating in those tubes! NOT carrying them down the river 🤣

Because with barely CURRENT & barely any water in some spots, we’re afraid our floaters may turn into TUBE WALKERS & Nobody signed up for the River Adventures Walk-a-Thon

That’s just not the River Adventures experience we want for y’all.

We’re keeping a close eye on things and trying to make the best decision for our floaters AND our tubes.

🌧️ At this point, we could REALLY use some rain!

We’re floating today, but it’s still LOW & SLOW!

Same rules as yesterday:
⏰ NOON CUT-OFF!
You MUST be parked, paid & putting in by 12:00 PM!
Water is LOW, which means your float is going to take LONGER than normal. Plan accordingly, take your time & enjoy the ride!

Remember, once that 12:00 cut-off hits, we are done putting floaters on the river for the day.

If you’re floating with us today, PLENTY of water & healthy liquids need to be at the TOP of your must-have list!

Pack MORE water than you think you’ll need. Staying hydrated makes for a much better day on the river!

Also, this is your reminder that we are people too & we are working in this heat for y'all to have a great day on the river So BE KIND TO OUR PEOPLE as I'm sure we will be dragging before the day is up.

Sunday August 2nd = Just a quick reminder that we are CLOSED today.

The river is still extremely high for tubing. While we know everyone is ready to get back on the water, your safety will always come first.

We truly appreciate your patience & understanding as we wait for the river to return to safe conditions. We'll keep everyone updated as soon as it's safe to float again.

🚨 THIS is why we watch the river so closely 🚨
At 4:00 AM, the river was flowing at 313 cubic feet per second.
By 11:30 AM, it had skyrocketed to 2,410 cubic feet per second.
(Our number to NOT put you in is 1200)

The important thing to remember is......
it doesn't even have to be raining here

We constantly monitor rainfall upstream, because the water eventually makes its way to us. A river can go from calm to muddy, fast-moving, & full of debris in just a few hours & we are TUBES!!

These are the kinds of conditions we watch every day so we can make the safest decision for our floaters. When we close, it isn't because we want to ruin anyone's plans. It's because your safety comes first, every single time.

Thank you for trusting us, understanding our decisions, & helping us keep everyone safe.

The river doesn't care if the sun is shining where you are.
It only cares how much rain fell upstream. That's why we keep such a close eye on it.

Will Be CLOSED today Saturday (Aug. 1) & Sunday (Aug. 2)

The heavy rain that moved through early this morning has left many areas, including the get in spot & the exit muddy & unsafe. As all of that water continues to drain into the river over the next 12–24 hours, we expect river levels to rise, making conditions unsuitable for floating.

🚫 For the safety of our tubers & staff, River Adventures will be CLOSED today (Saturday) AND tomorrow (Sunday).

We know this is disappointing, especially for those who had weekend plans with us, but safety will always come first.

Thank you all for your understanding & support.
