Today is World Cancer Day!

As you know 2020 hit us hard with Covid & Cancer and she came back in 2022. As we battle each day, we are also grateful for all who have helped us, supported us and offered love and understanding. Getting diagnosed with Stage 4 Non Hodgkins Lymphoma rocked my world and LLS was there along with amazing team of doctors, family and friends.

Ironically Covid & Cancer was a blessing. It stopped us dead in our tracks, reminded us to slow down, and love the ones you are with. LIFE IS NOW! Today is our last day in our shop in ADEL. It’s not a sad day - it’s a celebrate - as we pivot to new adventures. Creating memories and getting back on the road again with new adventures!

We can not thank you enough for your support. After countless doctor appointments, tests, treatments, business shut downs, and shifting to survive....it is because of YOU that we are here today. 💚 We are excited to announce our next adventures and invite you along the way!

Hello Adventure Loving Friends!

We are excited to share with you all that we are PIVOTING…that’s right! Just like Ross would say … “PIVOT! PIVOT! PIVOT!” That’s right … we are taking MODVILLE TOURS and PIVOTING! NO…we are not closing. NO…we are not dying. 😂 We are choosing LIFE IS NOW and we are ready to get back on the road again!

2020 was a year that rocked all our worlds. It was a year that changed our lives forever. On March 17th, 2020 - Keith and I were celebrating our anniversary- I say it’s the day I got lucky. It was also the day that the Governor decided to close retail establishments and ban travel. It was devastating news and catapulted our lives into a whole new direction. We found ourselves standing in the unknown/disbelief and questioning what we were to do next. As we stood there my phone rang…it was the call that no one wants to ever receive. It was a call from a doctor telling me my results came back and it was confirmed I have stage 4 Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. WHAT?!?! All on March 17th - St Patty’s Day - my luckiest day - I was devastated. The past 2 years has been consumed in survival mode with two rounds of cancer treatment, doctor visits every 3 months to Iowa City, and building back up to do what we love most - help people create memories through adventures, travel, connections and fun!

That day I am forever grateful and blessed for. That is the day our lives changed forever - FOR THE BETTER! That day stopped dead me dead in my tracks. It forced us to look at life differently and it allowed us to look at what is important and how we were human doings - not human beings. Today we are no longer in “survival mode”, we are now in “thriving mode!”

THANK YOU CANCER & COVID! Because of that day - we have been working to create, build, grow & pivot what we love into where we want our lives to go. We are so excited to share with you our next adventures and invite you along for the amazing journey ahead.

We can never thank you enough for all your love and support! YOU had unwavering kind hearts, understanding support and YOU have stood beside us, checked in on our health adventures, and continue to be patient as we GET BACK ON THE BUS! Follow us as we pivot - here are some clues….Imagine a EPIC Getaways? Imagine travel, adventures, spiritual, nature & more! Stay tuned….2023 is going to be EPIC!
