I have been traveling to Europe since 1984, professionally and personally, and I've been creating unique, specialized vacations for groups and individuals since 1989 when I worked simultaneously as a travel agent in Silver Spring, MD and as a Flight Attendant for Pan Am. Over the last 25 years, while focusing my "day job" efforts in the restaurant and hospitality business, I frequently returned to

France and Italy, creating tours for groups from 6 to 30, featuring winery tours and a focus on great food, historical sites and both popular and unique attractions.

A look back to the first time I took an overnight ferry from Naples to Palermo. I was wiped out after flying from Detroit to Milan, then taking airport link into the city before a long and delayed bullet train to Naples, where I boarded with minutes to spare. All in the name of exploration! Many of you have since taken this ferry with me on a southern Italy trip :)

The new Hard Rock Hotel is being built on the Vegas strip where the old Mirage once stood. It's going to be unbelievably spectacular. I don't talk much about it here, but I've spent a total of 47 nights in Las Vegas in the last 5 years working private corporate events. My first trip to Vegas was in 1993 and over the last 33 years I've visited often enough to watch her change and grow. I spoke with the home office of the Artemis this morning, and then got confirmation just a few minutes ago from Captain Nikos, that the "deep renovation" is well underway. The boat is already booked for most of May 2027 when I can put a trip together, but it is available on May 29, 2027 for a 7 night private charter. I have asked them to give me 48 hours to see if I have enough interest. If you would like to experience this incredible journey through the Saronic Bay please get in touch. I am working on a price, but suspect it will be about $1900 per person.

There are tons of great restaurants; there's ancient history, spectacular sunsets, and endless shopping. With its winding streets and narrow alleys, it's also my favorite place to get lost
