Join us online for the 2025 Spring Birding Primer | Co-hosted by Carpenter Nature Center and the Minnesota Ornithologists' Union on March 29th from 8:00am - 12:30pm. The morning is full of information from regional bird experts, passionate birders, and educators, including Ben Douglas! Ben will be presenting "Carpenter's Biggest Year," featuring highlights from the Carpenter Nature Center 2024 Big Year Bird Count.

Ben Douglas is a self-taught birder, writer, and public speaker. He volunteers with both the MOU and Carpenter Nature Center while regularly providing field trip guide support to help others learn about birds.

We have a new Wine Slushy flavor! It's Blueberry Pomegranate Chardonnay ! It's amazing! To celebrate, we're having a special happy hour until 7 pm Thursday and Friday. Everyone that purchases a slushy those days gets a FREE wine barrel glass! What a great way to relax and enjoy September at Winehaven!

We are happy to let you know that we still have a good supply of First Kiss™ apples. This was our biggest crop ever and boy are they beautiful. First Kiss is the newest apple to be developed by the University of Minnesota. They were bred to have Honeycrisp juiciness and a refreshing tartness. Their very crisp texture along with tart to well-balanced flavor offers an incredible eating experience.

Other early season apples available in the store include: SweeTango™, Zestar!, Wealthy and Chestnut Crabs. 🍎

As a reminder we are open daily from 10am to 6pm and offer pick-your-own apples on Saturdays and Sunday only. ✅
