Today was DNA day for bulls! 🧬 We take tissue samples by punching a very small piece of tissue out of the bull's ear, smaller than an eartag hole. We will send those into the lab to verify parentage and other DNA markers. We also tattooed the bulls where our interns got hands-on experience and left with "green thumbs" from the tattoo ink. These bulls will be our private treaty bulls available next spring. Our littlest helper was pretty worn out until it was time to move bulls back to pasture, then he was ready to ride!

Even 2 weeks after the snowmageddan, we are still battling deep snow and difficulties getting around to cattle for feeding and moving. The sun keeps shining though and we are grateful for the moisture! ❄️☀️
