Tailored Tours of Aiken is a guided tour service that provides driving tours for private parties from two to seven people. We offer several different types of tours such as driving or walking; historic Aiken, Aiken & a Plantation, Winter Cottages, a special tour combining historic and current Aiken for those who are thinking of moving here, and now even a walking ghost tour at night. But if you do

n't see a tour that interests you, call and let us accommodate you. Tailored Tours are available Monday through Saturday throughout the year. Sundays can be reserved but only with a 48 hour advanced booking notice. All tours are given by an experienced, certified guide who is knowledgeable about Aiken history and Southern history. We recommend you reserve your tour by calling or emailing us. All tours are for private single groups, so time slots fill quickly. We want all our visitors to have the best time possible in our beloved city and we look forward to serving you soon.

I can’t imagine the fear these men overcame and the courage they mustered to storm the beaches on D-Day in order to squash Hi**er and the N**i regime, helping bring an end to WW2. I pray God especially bless the men who are still with us and be extra kind to those who have already met Him face to face.

Today was such a beautiful day for touring and seeing our little extras. We were treated to two thoroughbreds having a restful time at the Willcox Inn (at least one of them, Trumpet, is from Australia). We also witnessed a young hawk cooling his or her talons at the Green Boundary Club before taking flight. Isn’t Aiken grand?🥰

So many times during the year but especially today, Memorial Day, I can’t help but think of the men and women who gave their lives to create and preserve our country and our freedom. Regardless of their social status, race, creed, or political affiliation, those brave souls gave their ultimate sacrifice in order for their generation as well as future generations would live free from dictators, communism, socialism, and the fear of mass extermination. None of us can ever pay them back but we can remembering them and honor them by living in such a way that we keep our freedom alive.

While touring, my guests and I are almost always treated to extra special moments and this last few days didn’t disappoint. There’s always something extra to notice and when you take my tour, you’re free to look around and notice things you normally might miss because you’re concentrating on traffic. Saturday was a great day for special sights! An antique car collection and, sadly no photos, the cutest little girl taking pictures with her First Communion dress, a graduate with cap & gown, and a young man in his prom suit. Sometimes it’s the little extras that make the tour so much more fun.

While on today’s tour we were greeted by two darling babies! Not only are Aikenites the best, but so are our four legged nay-bors.🤭 We even spotted a gentleman with a parrot on his shoulder but I couldn’t get my camera up quick enough. It was an extra special sight though.
