About the owner:

We (Greg and Melanie Powers) moved to Aiken in 1990 and raised 3 wonderful children in this great town. We lived and traveled in Europe and enjoyed traveling seeing old and unique cultures. We live a few blocks away on Park Ave. and live in a 100 year old Victorian house. We both enjoy collecting and restoring antiques. Why the Owner Chose Aiken:

Guest House has been renovated while preserving the historic flavor of both the interior and exterior. The furnishings are in most cases are antiques and unique. The kitchen has granite tops and all new appliances. The bathroom has been tiled with marble and the original bead board walls have been restored. We now have firm date when Cottage Rose Guest House will be available. It will be available on November 1, 2021. This historic unique 1200 square foot apartment has two bedrooms and one bath. We will rent it unfurnished and the rent will be $1500/month. The renters will be responsible for the electricity bill and a fixed cost of $50 for the water. WiFi is provided.

This unique walk up apartment is walking distance to downtown restaurants and shops. Located on Park Ave close the Train Depot.

This downtown historic guest house will be available in October of 2021. Our current long-term renters will be leaving (as of now) in September. Will need about a month to clean and get ready for new long-term renters. Let me know if you have interest.

We are now offering the wonderful apartment now for long-term rental. We enjoyed the short-term stays and here is what the last person said, "Loved, loved,loved this property. 
From the 6 minute walk to The Blue Moon Cafe, to the spacious and beautifuly decorated apartment . I felt truly Southern. I have normaly stayed at The Wilcox not anymore!
