We are sad to hear of an airplane accident near New Philadelphia airport. American Winds sends our prayers to the family of the owner in passengers.
As we push all of our airplanes into the hanger today, we do thank the good Lord that our students and instructors are safe. It is very sad to think that the aviation community has gained another angel.

Here’s what you need to know to get started at American Winds:

- You must be at least 16 years old to officially begin pilot training (but younger students can participate in certain flight school programs!).
- A college degree is not required – unless you choose to enroll in our college program.
