City of Albany Teen Center T(w)een Programs for Albany Youth! All daily after-school participants have the option of attending any of our enrichment classes for no additional fee*.

Teen Center daily after-school programs are back for youth grades 6th-8th providing a well-supervised environment to play, learn, make friends, enhance self-esteem and develop social skills. Teen Center offers a variety of activities including indoor/outdoor games, healthy snacks and a supervised homework period Mon-Thurs. At the Albany Teen Center we empower youth to grow intellectually, creative

ly and emotionally in a safe, supervised environment. Program hours are 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Mon through Fri (2:10-6pm Wed). A minimum attendance of three days per week is required. Teen Center staff accompanies participants on the short walk from Albany Middle School to the Teen Center. Daily Schedule
• 3:10 Pick-up participants at AMS
• 3:30-4:00 Check-in, snacks and free play
• 4:00-5:00 Daily Enrichment Classes
• 5:00-5:00pm Homework Time
• 5:30-6:00 Quiet Indoor Games, free play, continued homework time
• 6:00 Teen Center Closes

Spring Enrollment

3 days/week $210/month
4 days/week $288/month
5 days/week $360/month

holidays, in-service days and winter & spring break not included

*enrichment option limited to the class offered on the day your child attends Teen Center

After 13 years, today I celebrate my very last day of Teen Center. What a great experience to meet and know so many amazing kids over the years, many of whom have become close friends. I'm proud to have been part of this program and hope that my fond memories are shared by the others who were with me along the way. Now that i'll be stress free, maybe my hair will revert back to its original darker state. Love to all you guys!

This Friday at the Teen Center we are hosting a MOVIE NIGHT for kids 8-12 years old. We will provide dinner, popcorn, and drinks. This event is only $10.00 and runs from 6-10pm.

From 6-10pm this Friday, December 14, Teen Center offers a fun evening of KARAOKE and MOVIES! Rock out to your favorite songs; classics, new hits, and even some holiday music! After you’ve sung your heart out, relax to a movie or two with some popcorn. Towards the end of the night you can even CREATE YOUR OWN ice cream sundae! Don’t forget the delicious spaghetti dinner we’ll be serving, made by the one and only, Shera!
