The Discover Albany Visitors Center provides current information about attractions, entertainment and events in Albany County and the surrounding Capital Region of NYS. Staffed information desk, brochures, exhibit, Albany mementos, and gifts. The Visitors Center is re-opening May 20, 2021 on a temporary limited basis: Thursday - Saturday 10am-2pm.

Ooh La LaALBANY! 😘😘😘 Join us and Discover Albany for “Albany Amour,” a romantic storytelling experience where we share tales of the sweet, the scandalous, and the downright notorious partnerships throughout Albany’s history. Each story has its own flavor of drama, from the traditional courtship of Alexander and Eliza Hamilton, the exceptional bravery of Stephen and Harriet Myers, the insidious murderous affair at Historic Cherry Hill, and the modern triumph in passing New York State’s Marriage Equality Act.
