Maybe we need to stop measuring everything by how productive it was.

Some things are worth doing simply because they make you feel more alive.

The trip.
The walk.
The sauna.
The ridiculous little detour.
The afternoon you did absolutely nothing useful.

Our new 6-person cedar sauna has quickly become one of the most-loved amenities at Sojourn Chalet.

One thing many first-time visitors are surprised to discover is that even in the middle of summer, the evenings in the Pocono Mountains can be wonderfully cool. After a day spent at the lake, hiking nearby trails, or soaking up the sunshine, there is nothing quite like stepping into the warmth of the cedar sauna as the mountain air begins to cool.

The scent of cedar, the peaceful forest views, and the contrast between the crisp evening air and the cozy heat create a ritual our guests cannot stop talking about.

Pair it with a soak in the hot tub under the stars, and you have the perfect Pocono summer evening.
