Native Paths Travel My name is Molly Linabah-Putsch and I am based here in Albuquerque. I have been a travel agent for over 20 years and have run NPT since Sept 2001.

I run my business Native Paths Travel here out of my home and contract with Travel Leaders aka Carlson Wagonlit Travel. I specialized in group/meeting bookings primarily to my fellow Native American communities and businesses. I also arrange travel and discounted rates for Powwow Committee's all over the US and even Canada. Plus I arrange special vacations, leisure, business, international, and do

mestic travel. So basically I am 'all-around' agent. Anyhow, I have offered the lowest rates at the best hotels near the 'Pit' for the past 12-14 years. Happy 2015!!! So another year and that comes with another GON. After trying to take a break last year... I couldn't do it. You're all too fabulous to not help. So using a new hotel which I know you'll love the location. I'm working with the managers now so rates will be up probably February. If you need airline tickets let me know!! I usually can beat the competition. Until then, don't forget I do all kinds of travel arrangements!! Happy New Year!!!! Dance n sing hard for those of us who can't. 😊

So I have a room at the best Western great Northern inn in Havre, MT $150 per night including tax. From august 1st with check out on the 4th 2 double beds non smoking. Cancellation must be done 7 days prior to arrival by July 31st. The hotel charge one nights room+ tax. Native paths travel nonrefundable agency fee $25. Email me if interested [email protected]. Okay, so here is the new status, current update... i'll just delete the other one so no one will be confused....lol

There are about 10 rooms left I believe as of today. Most of the 59 rates are gone but there might be a few left. Now I know where the 49's going to be at....lol j/k

WARNING!!!! To anyone who is coming for GON this year And staying at a hotel near the pit or in abq....

I have been hearing from some former clients that most of the hotels around here will be charging 100 to 300 deposits on your credit cards or debit cards. Any Marriott property is $300 and some other hotels it is a hundred. These are not to be confused with your other charges. The hotels explain the deposits will be returned to your banks within 3 to 14 days after they inspect your room and after check-out. If you're paying by cash you will be asked for the same amount at time of check in. For those of you booked online beware!! They will not tell you about this charge either.

How do I know this??? my sister checked in with her reservations and they finally just told her they have already taken her $300 deposit out of her card and she won't get her money back for over a week for Canadian banks since she canceled and is rebooking the rooms I have on block.

Please call your hotel directly not the worldwide reservation numbers ASAP to find out and make sure you reservations do not include this deposit or if you don't not want to pay I have alternate hotels about 10 minutes from the pit and much cheaper.

I know I said I wasn't going to do rooms this year but after hearing about this I changed my mind. I really hate seeing long long time clients and friends and family screwed over just for an event.

I will post the hotel information tomorrow and it will be simpler this year so y'all take care and make sure you have fun at GON and don't let anybody take it from you!!!! It's stressful and expensive enough to do that..

With much sadness and regret plus at Kai's request I won't be offering gathering of nation's contracted rates this year. I have lost too much money in the past from hotels and clients (yes you know who you are!!). For what I make which is barely nothing it is too stressful and damaging to my health to continue on. Due to two strokes in the last three months I'm not wanting another one. So I have to lookout for me and my family this year. Thanks to all who have supported me in the past 15 years I've done this and I hope I am well enough soon to resume it. Until then love you all... I still do individual reservations and some special client needs but as far as the big GON group it is postponed until I get stronger. Hugs not drugs!!! Lol 💐💐😊💐💐

I would like to apologize to everyone about this year's Hotels and rates, etc. This year I just got caught in a whirlwind of certain Hotels mismanagement, a basketball tourney that is in ABQ at the same time as GON, and sold out/overpriced hotels. Every day I wake up a with a huge knot in my stomach as I am thinking 'what's next?'. Anyhow, I just wanted to express my feelings on this whole thing this year. But since its already passed, and life moves on, I hope everyone has a great time at GON this year. Both my son, Kai, and I pray that everyone has safe travels, enjoys the time with all their loved ones, meet new love ones...ayeee, meet new people, and who knows discover their new lineage....lol Thank you to everyone who has stood by me and NPT all these years!! I promise to make next years experience even better!! Also, can you all do me a favor? Please let me know how your stay was at the Ramada this year? If its that good, comfortable, clean, and great service I might use this hotel as one of the priority hotels. I know it will be going through renovation over the year too :D Just let me know, okay. If you have any problems, call me so I can rectify it.

I want to apologize to all my clients, friends, and family about the delay of pricing for this year's GON Hotel rates. I have been working with the Hotel for the past 2 months getting the pricing right for all of you. After all this work and negotiating with this one manager, I called the Hotel only to find out he left or was let go! I just released all my frustrations and every emotion I had invested in this so that I could regroup to keep fighting. When it comes to my clients and my reputation I will fight all the way to get everyone the best rates available. I have phone calls and messages out there to the Hotel's new management team to rework this whole thing out. I will have the rates ready by Tues or Wed of next week. I have your back and this will be done. I just want you all to to be assured the rates will be low and the service will be high. Thank you everyone for your patience and look forward to seeing you all this year. There will be a reception on Thurs evening at the Fairfield Inn. GON Update: Some bad and good news... First the bad, I found out the 2 bedroom suites have been sold out since November of last year, all of them. But I am bidding on some great rates for the 1 bedroom suites and the remaining Studio Suites. All rooms can sleep 4 and have full kitchen facilities. Then I have the Fairfield Inn with tons for rooms all double double rooms but they are just standard, no kitchens. If some of you are insisting on the 2 bedroom suites, the Residence Inn next door has a couple left for 199.00 per night. FYI, for the rates I am fighting for, you can get 2 rooms at the Fairfield for much less than that!

I am fighting hard for you, my clients, as the first proposed rates were ridiculous. The Sales Manager that I worked with for over 10 years left Marriott over the summer since she moved. I was soo sad but thankful for Karen Honeycutt for all your great years of service. I wish every manager would be a model of you because you're an incredible person, inside and out!

Meanwhile, I just wanted to share a few excerpts of my communication with the hotel so you know how hard i am fighting:
Thanks ***** for sending the proposal, I am afraid those numbers will definitely not work. I will never sell rooms at those prices. I am sending you a list of hotel rates around the area that are similar to your property and see how we can beat them. Just so that you know my clients are not 'vacation' clients. The Gathering of Nations is a competition powwow as all the participants travel at least 60% of the year and many stay at Marriott brand properties. So negotiating a great rate means so much more than an average leisure or business client. As you and I know we have to keep the clients happy at all costs. I do whatever I can do for my clients. Which is why I have so many client's for many years now. Anyhow. so please I ask you to help me lower these rates to beat what the other GON rates out there or they will go elsewhere.

Yup, well that's part of what i said. Just wanted to share with you all how I view and care about everyone . Just remember I don't just book travel for GON but all around the world. I am looking for more business and leisure clients. i also am a certified International and group sales agent. Travel agents can save you tons or money and get you almost everything you need. Travel agents are the best!!! :D

okay okay.... The 2013 GON Hotel rates will be coming up this next week. So, tell me, who's all wanting rooms this year? I also will be raffling off a Hotel (which is not near the Pit) for 2 free nights plus breakfast at the Sandia Courtyard off I-40 during that time. The Raffle will be posted a little later. Anyhow, for now, some of you I know are wanting rooms, how many more of you are wanting rooms? The hotels are the Towneplace Suites (2 bedrooms suites with full kitchenette n breakfast) were last year 119 per night. Negotiations are happening now but the rates will be similar. As always, I fight for the best rate available. The 2nd hotel is the Fairfield Inn which was last year 89 per night with breakfast (they are not suite rooms). Again, the rates will either be the same or the best I can get. I am also working on the Courtyard, right across the street, rates will be announced by Feb 1st. The agency fee did go up a little bit due to a new host agency of $20 and groups are always discounted. Let me know asap so I can get an idea if I need to get additional hotels. Don't forget about our airline and car rates too!!!

Okay it's all now official... Back with my old Host agency Rio Grande Travel... So now downloading all the new airline systems as of today, sorry everyone was in hiatus until I got the new contracts, etc signed. Now I don't feel as chaotic :D So Welcome back RGT...lol
