This past rescue course was one for the books. 🔥⛰️

Over the course of the training, climbers pushed themselves through real-world rescue scenarios, technical systems, problem solving under pressure, team communication, patient care, hauling systems, rappels, and critical decision making in the field. From sunrise to sunset, the energy, commitment, and growth from every participant was incredible to witness.

What made this course special wasn’t just the technical skills learned — it was the community built around trust, leadership, and the shared passion for the mountains and climbing. Every participant showed resilience, professionalism, and the willingness to step outside their comfort zone to become stronger and safer climbers.

Huge respect to everyone who joined us and gave it their all. Courses like these remind us why outdoor education matters and why preparedness can truly make a difference when things get serious in the field.

This was hands down one of our strongest and most inspiring trainings yet — and we’re only getting started.

Join us for a 2-day, hands-on course focused on real-world rescue skills for climbers moving in vertical terrain. Not theory—practical systems you can rely on when it counts.

May 8–9 | Albuquerque Area

You’ll learn how to:
– Solve rappel problems when your rope isn’t enough
– Assist a partner who’s stuck on rope
– Raise or lower a climber in exposed terrain
– Escape a loaded belay safely
– Manage real rescue scenarios with clarity and efficiency

✨ 5 Years of Enchanted Mountain Guides ✨

This month, Enchanted Mountain Guides turns 5 years.

We are deeply grateful to the Universe, to the Apus, to Taita Inti, and to all of our relations for believing in this project and guiding every step of this journey.

Five years full of experiences, laughter, lessons, challenges, and summits. Five years of sunrise prayers, shared silence, strong embraces at the top, and the sacred privilege of serving everyone who feels the call to reconnect with the mountains.

What began as a dream became a path. What became a path turned into a community. And that community continues to grow with every footstep placed on sacred ground.

To everyone who has trusted us with their journey — thank you. You are part of this story.
