Fantastic view of the original Hines Boarding House in the early 1900's. Taken from what the current owners refer to as the "meadow", the only large semi-flat field on the farm. The large building you see to the left of the house was the "apple house" during the days when the farm was used as an orchard. The roof line directly behind it is the only remaining original structure from this time and was the "meat house" in its day. The owners in recent times converted it into a "wood shed".

Explination of the name "Hines Boarding House 2.0". This is the location of the orginal Hines Boarding House in Pence Springs, WV in the early 1900's. "2.0" is used to denote a superior or more advanced version of an original concept, product, service, etc. Since this 1950's ranch home sits on the exact same location as the original boarding house and even has some of the original square cut foundation stones from the original house under it. And this renovated home will have air conditioning, wifi, headed with propane heat, has running water; the list goes on and on it will embody the defination of a "more advanced version of an original concept, product, service, etc." Ergo this vacation rental will be called Hines Boarding House 2.0".
