In october of 2022 Tatanka Rez Tourz was nominated for the excellence in customer service award from AIANTA (American INDIAN Alaskan Native Tourism Association) and won this award. Sharing lakota language, culture, history, knowledge here on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. We attended the ceremony on october 24th-28th in Funner Ca.
We would like to thank every organization that has made our partnerships with them possible. Every tour that we have had in the past 7 years and every stop along the way. Thank you for the opportunity to educate you all, share who we are, share our difficulties as a people to cross those cultural bridges. heres to the 2023 touring season. bring it on

Anpetu wasté to all of supporters and past and potential visitors, We tatanka Rez Tourz a small family business are hoping to attend the AITC (American Indian Tourism Conference) in San Diego CA this October. If you have took a tour with us please leave us your honest reviews of your experience on trip advisor, and our page. We appreciate it so much. Any and all monetary means are going to this workshop to help fund our business. There is so much opportunity for networking and education on native tourism in indian country. There is also awards for this where you can nominate a individual or business. If any of our friends or family would like to nominate us here is the link. We are doing our part to Promote education in native history, language and culture. Being the only licensed native tour operators on this side of the Missouri river is such a great honor to hold. We continue to strive opportunities for other native tourism ideas to blossom.

Tatanka Rez Tourz art studio at the New Oglala Lakota art space building here on pine ridge reservation. We are up and coming in on our 7th year of business and although it’s been a journey we have a dream come to reality and it’s only up from here. Thank you to all our supporters who have in the past toured with us and to our new and coming visitors in 2022 we are very greatful for the opportunity to show you our life’s and culture here on Wazi Ahanhan Makohcé (The Pine Ridge Indian Reservation). We are greatful and we hope to see you all in the near future.
