SW Wisconsin’s Driftless Region has so many cute places to stop - we visited Ferguson's Orchards - Galesville, Schwertel Family Farms, & Winghaven Pizza Farm for a bite to eat.

This place has been on my Midwest bucketlist for quite some time, and we finally got to visit the other weekend while we were in Manistique. It was just as beautiful as I imagined! 💚

A few things we learned while visiting:

✨The name means “the big cold spring” in the Ojibwe language & is also known as “Mirror of Heaven”

💧 It’s Michigan’s largest natural freshwater spring

🫧 Over 10,000 gallons of water flow through the spring every minute (you could actually see the springs moving below!)

🌡️ The water stays around 45°F year-round

Definitely one of those places that makes you stop and appreciate how many incredible little wonders there are right here in the Midwest!
