Caricatures by Catherine I am artist based in Greenville, SC, and I have been caricaturing professionally since 2004. I am available for hire for parties and special events.

Caricaturing is basically capturing the personality and exaggerated likeness of a person in just a few quick pen strokes. Ever since I started caricaturing I've been addicted to it; I love drawing the details of a person that makes them special, and I love seeing the expressions on people's faces when they see their caricature for the first time. I've been fortunate enough to draw all across the c

ountry, from Sea World in San Antonio, to the BMW Manufacturing Company and Clemson University in South Carolina, to Green Acre Baha'i School in Maine. Currently, I spend a lot of my time drawing at local events in Greenville such as birthdays, weddings, holiday celebrations, reunions, fundraisers, etc., and I also set up my own caricaturing booth at outdoor festivals throughout the Southeast. My hourly rate depends on date (holidays and weekends or no); the range is $120-$150/hour. I accept events within a hour driving radius of Greenville SC. Sorry, I am not available to take commissions (that is: drawing from a photo) at the moment due to demand for events keeping me busy. I’m looking forward to drawing people as *superheroes and heroines* at Free Comic Book Day tomorrow at Not Just Gamin' in downtown Greer! (Have I mentioned I’m SO excited that they set up shop in downtown Greer recently?? I’ve been wanting a nearby game store for ages, and their store is seriously very cool and welcoming to everybody, no matter your level of game or comic geekiness!)
