Alrighty, well it looks like the City of Alton needs some more time to clear street parking and wind chills are still looking poor for tomorrow. ❄️ Plus, the kids are home e-learning so my hubby and I will be tag-teaming on that day of joy. 😒 SO…we will be closed tomorrow and will evaluate day to day.

BUT! Take a peek at the project I just finished on the website. I developed a local Alton guide with a bunch of personal favorites, including shops, restaurants, outdoor art, and points of interest for out-of-town visitors. Supporting other local businesses with good referrals is essential, and making Alton a tourist-friendly destination will be key for the survival of our small shops downtown. Visitors will be able to access our recommendations by a QR code in store as well, which is particularly helpful on Mondays and Tuesdays when visitors to Honeybee struggle to know what open and where to go next. This is just one small piece in the puzzle, but it’s hopefully a contribution to our city. You can tap the map to access and save the local guide on Google Maps, if you wish. Feel free to also comment below for your own recommendations for me to consider adding to the Guide. 👇🏻
