God's creation is remarkable, and the Smoky Mountains are one of our nation's greatest natural wonders. Robert and I appreciated our time with friends and new acquaintances. We were saddened to hear about Charlie Kirk. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

From the bottom of my heart, I can assert that our recent travels have been an experience unlike any other. Our journey, which commenced in Kentucky and continued through Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, and ultimately back home, has been a truly remarkable experience. We have been privileged to encounter numerous extraordinary moments and have thoroughly enjoyed our time on the road. However, as with all great things, a conclusion is inevitable. I would like to take this opportunity to thank those who have joined us on this journey through Facebook; I hope you have found the experience equally enjoyable. I extend my best wishes to you and look forward to sharing our next adventure with you in the near future.

Days 9 & 10 in Waco, TX did not disappoint. We have enjoyed our visit to Magnolia Table, the Spice Village and Homestead Heritage. Here are a few pictures.

Ahhh… we are taking a little break from the road, so Days 7 & 8 are poolside and relaxing. Tomorrow we head to Waco, TX.

Day 6 and we have traveled from Oklahoma City to Amarillo, Texas. This is where we conclude our journey on Route 66. Wow! We have truly enjoyed our journey thus far; we have met new friends, shared great food and made memories for a lifetime. Here are a few pictures…

Wow! Day 5 has been full of adventures and some sadness as we visited the Oklahoma Federal Building where the bombing took place. This trip has been an adventure, educational and fun. Here are a few pictures.

It’s time to share our fourth day of travel and fun to Tulsa, Oklahoma. I never dreamed we would have the opportunity to travel and explore in this way. We are so blessed as we continue our trip out west.

Travel is such an amazing adventure! Day Three of our trip was so much fun in Branson, MO. Today, (Day 4) we head to Springfield to get on Route 66 and then on to Oklahoma. Stay tune for more updates.

Day Two was amazing. We traveled from Martin, TN to Branson, MO. Once we got settled in the hotel we adventured out to the Top of the Rock. Dinner and the sunset was breathtaking.
