Lobster season is officially open!! There was an air of excitement at the docks in Provo and South Caicos today as many gathered to await the return of our fishermen with their first haul of lobster to mark the opening of lobster season. In Provo, Deputy Governor, Her Excellency Anya Williams, was present to welcome the first boat laden with lobster at the fish depot in Five Cays. In South Caicos, Minister of Tourism, Hon. Zhavargo Jolly and South Caicos MP, Hon. Tamell Seymour welcomed the first lobster catch of the season.
