7:26 PM CT: Severe Thunderstorm Warning continues for northern Hutchinson County in the Texas Panhandle until 8:15 PM. A severe storm over Stinnett is moving northeast at 15 MPH toward Pringle.

60 MPH wind gusts and quarter-size hail are possible. Heavy rain and frequent lightning are also occurring, and localized flooding may develop.

We've had less than helpful weather, but we're so pleased to see the turnout for this program so far! Tonight, Southeast Park. Next month, El Alamo Park!

Need a deeper level of calm? Grab your blanket, water and soak up the last rays of the sun at Sunset Yoga - every Thursday!

From May through August, Yoga Instructor Brooke will be leading FREE, hour-long, mixed level, group classes at a different park each month.

May: Southeast Park
June: El Alamo Park
July: Memorial Park
August: Ridgecrest School Park

Walk-ins ages 13+ are welcome, and waivers are required to participate. Register to receive a reminder email with the exact location and follow the signs when you arrive.

Street Maintenance Update: S. Georgia St. 🚧

Starting June 2, traffic control will be in place between Curtis Dr. and I-40. The traffic control pattern will be similar to the current setup and is expected to remain in place through June 9.

Construction crews will continue progressing northward in sections as work advances toward the final phase of the project near SW 10th Ave.

Drivers should expect temporary lane adjustments and changing traffic patterns throughout the work area. Please stay alert, reduce speed in work zones, and watch for crews and equipment.

Thank you for your continued cooperation and patience as we make improvements to Amarillo roads.
