Despite wildfires just 10 miles away as the crow flies, we still get views like this from our campground. It all depends on wind direction. The wind direction has kept us out of any danger.

The Kobuk River GLASS!!! When the winds are calm, it’s so smooth out here. No other boats creating wake, only Mother Nature makes it bumpy.
