A Park Hopper pass lets you visit both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure in the same day. It’s a great way to maximize your ride and dining options while staying flexible with crowd levels.

Keep in mind, Disneyland still uses a park reservation system, so you won’t be able to hop parks until after 11 AM on the day of your visit. The good news—Lightning Lane can be used in both parks all day long! Disneyland often stays open longer than California Adventure- a park hopper pass can help you best maximize your time at both parks!

Unfortunately, Monsters Inc Mike and Sulley to the Rescue will be closing its doors in early 2027 as part of the upcoming construction to the Disneyland Resort area. But the year is young so still plenty of time to see them before they head out! Due to their upcoming closure, the wait times for this attraction have increased. I would recommend using a Lightning Lane if this attraction is on your to do list!

Paint the Night has returned to Disneyland as part of the 70th celebration! This runs (almost) every night at 8:30 although I recommend getting a spot along the parade route beginning at 7:30 to get the best view! Be sure to catch this on your visit this summer!

To celebrate 100 years of Winnie the Pooh, a fully edible confectionery display is on showcase at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, featuring Pooh and all his friends. This was so cute and made the entire lobby smell amazing! Be sure to add this to your list if you have any Pooh fans in your travel party!

Soarin’ Over California is currently back at Disney California Adventure through July 1, after which it will transition to Soarin’ Over America in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary! This attraction is very popular so I recommend either doing it at rope drop or planning to use a Lightning Lane to maximize your time in the parks!

It got pretty toasty at Disneyland last week, so I cooled off at the Golden Horseshoe with a Roy Rogers! It’s a Coke with grenadine and maraschino cherries—though I swapped in Diet Coke. I’m also a big fan of the Golden Horseshoe’s classic vibe. It’s the perfect spot to relax and take a break!

This is one of my favorite lunches at the Disneyland Resort! This is the Poke Bowl with Marinated Tofu from Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar and Grill at the Disneyland Hotel! This is always very fresh and best enjoyed with a cocktail near the pool! I also love their tempura green beans!
