🏒 Meet Your Speaker: Aaron Teats

We’re pleased to welcome Aaron Teats, President of the Anaheim Ducks Hockey Club and CEO of the San Diego Gulls Hockey Club, to the OC Sports Summit 2026.

Aaron has spent more than three decades in the sports industry, all within the Ducks organization.

His career began in broadcasting, where he spent 11 years as a producer and director of Ducks radio and television broadcasts, including an Emmy-winning production during the club’s 2003 playoff run.
He later transitioned to the business side, taking on leadership roles across marketing, communications, fan development, business operations, and community engagement.

Today, Aaron leads two professional hockey organizations and brings deep experience in building brands, engaging fans, and growing the business of sports.

We’re excited to hear his perspective at the OC Sports Summit 2026 and highlight the strong sports leadership here in Orange County.

Brian co-founded Athletes First in 2001 and has helped grow the Laguna Hills-based agency from a young startup into one of the most influential sports representation and marketing companies in the industry.

Today, Athletes First represents an elite roster of professional athletes and has negotiated billions of dollars in football contracts, while continuing to expand its business across marketing, media, partnerships and events.

🎤 Meet Your Keynote Speaker: Jeff Moorad

We’re excited to announce Jeff Moorad as the keynote speaker for the OC Sports Summit 2026, Presented by PNC Bank.

Jeff began as a sports agent, representing some of the biggest names in professional sports and negotiating more than $3 billion in athlete contracts.

He then moved into team ownership and leadership, serving as CEO of the Arizona Diamondbacks and later Vice Chairman and CEO of the San Diego Padres.

Today, Jeff is Partner and CEO of MSP Sports Capital and he also teaches the Business of Sports at UCLA Anderson.

From the athlete representation side to the front office, ownership and investment side, Jeff has seen the sports industry from virtually every angle.

We’re looking forward to hearing his perspective on where the business of sports is headed and what it means for Orange County.
