This morning I woke up ridiculously early to make restaurant reservations for a trip that's still 60 days away.
Which sounds slightly unhinged when you say it out loud.
But here's what I was really doing.
I was imagining breakfast with Stitch.
Dinner inside the Mexico pavilion.
Drinks in a galaxy far, far away.
Sitting around tables with people I love.
Laughing.
Talking about the day.
Ordering something we probably didn't need.
Staying a little longer.
That's why I care about dining when I travel.
Food isn't just something you fit between attractions.
It's where everyone finally sits down.
It's where you recap what happened.
It's where somebody tells the story that becomes the running joke for the rest of the trip.
The reservation takes five minutes.
The memory might last forever.
🍴 Food First. Flights Later.
