Puffins are on the top of everyones list of subjects to view and photograph while out on charters. We had so many amazing opportunities with these guys over the summer and now these Horned and Tufted Puffins will make their way from the coastline to the open ocean. Surprising enough they will lose their colorful bill as this breading plumage will grow back when they return to their nesting sites next year as the cycle repeats itself. We found a pod of Fin whales and stopped to watch as they sounded. The Fin whale is the second largest whale in the world and the largest whale we have in our area measuring up to 85 feet / 26 meters long and weighing up to 80 tons!
