Hey friends!!

Come out and join us with our friends Friends of Eagle River Nature Center this Sunday for a nice Sunday stroll while learning about crepuscular animals and the delights found in the boreal forests of Alaska during winter.

This is an entry level hike and will be pretty low intensity. Expect snow, and if you have micro-spikes bring them. If not, don’t worry we have plenty.

Hey hey hey! Word on the street is Anchorage is going to get some snow! ❄️

All we can say is that we’re ready for it. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

Lots of memories to be made: frozen waterfalls, snow-filled alpine meadows, snowshoeing in the hemlocks, and all types of frozen fungi 🥶🍄‍🟫

Winter always brings a sense of nostalgia and child-like feelings. Don’t you agree?
