Friends, this trip to Yellowstone has been so much fun for me! I have loved searching for great accommodations for a trip out west. There are so many amazing options, but I have saved my favorite for last.

If you are a history buff like me, what could be cooler than to stay in a one room schoolhouse from 1916 that has been renovated and turned into a vacation rental that sleeps four? This schoolhouse was used by many of the kids in this rural area. You will notice many of the original details from the school when you arrive for your stay including the original floor, chalkboards, and desks.

And if staying in a one hundred year old schoolhouse isn't cool enough, this rental is actually located on a working ranch where you can enjoy horseback riding, ziplines, and rafting in the summer. You can go hiking all year long, and there is cross-country skiing directly from the front door. This is the outdoorsman's ultimate dream!
