overlooking a mountain valley in the northern end of the Mahoosuc range. Swimming pond with beach & river on property. Plentiful outdoor activities: swim, boat, fish (stocked pond, great fishing throughout the area including some of the nation's most pristine wild trout waters), hike, bike, ride, berry pick... or just relax. Over the years many wonderful celebrations and happy events have rung in our halls. Here, yours too, can be a glowing memory to add to the scrapbook! Originally built in 1791 and on the National Register of Historic Places, with design contributions by architect Stanford White and landscape designer, Fredrick Law Olmstead. We are located just 3.5 hours north of Boston and 2 hours from Portland, Maine.
