YES!! Our tours are all still on for today!

Our section of Andrews Valley has historically been a place of refuge from storms. With 5,000’ mountains surrounding us, we’re protected from most weather systems.

For our first tour of the day, we’re departing with half blue skies, half grey skies, a light breeze and no rain. We even have a rainbow. The weather could change, of course, which is why we can’t close tours ahead of time.

Our official weather policy is:

We go out on tour rain or shine. In the event of severe weather such as lighting, the Conductor makes the final go or no-go 15 minutes from departure. In that situation, you will be offered a refund or a free transfer to another date.

We understand the behind-the-scenes work it takes to be the (volunteered) coordinator of a group tour. With that in mind, we seek to make it easy for you to book a group tour with us.

For group tours, we don’t collect payment until you’ve had time to figure out who all is coming.

This group tour of 38 came out of Dellwood, North Carolina. They received personalized help throughout the booking, waiver signing, and seating process. We loved hosting them today!

9.6 miles. 1.5 hours. 9 trestle crossings. Travel with us on a journey to the hand-carved Rhodo Tunnel above the Valley River.

Pedaling (Railbikes) or non-pedaling (on Cart or Speeders) seats available. $59.99 per seat.

We’re running out of daylight and rolling into sunset. We’ve opened two Twilight Tours for this weekend: one on Friday evening and one on Saturday evening.

Our Twilight Tours depart the Andrews (NC) Depot at 6:00PM and arrive back at 7:30PM
