As we gather at our historic rail station in Andrews, North Carolina, we pause to remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. We remember and honor them as we ride through the stunning landscapes they fought for.

“Speeders” are antique railroad maintenance vehicles that were historically used to zip along the tracks. That earned them the nickname “Speeders.”

We have a collection of old Speeders here at AVRT, and we welcome you to come ride in them. When you book, choose the Choo Choo or the Conductor Experience.
