People always ask if they need to supply their own firewood (because they are used to that at other short term rental rentals). Not here. We supply all you need for magical and memory-making campfires by the Lake each night. And we’ve just stocked up for 2026.
We have three weekends open in November and again in December and the entire winter Pokagon tobogganing season is open. We have a few weeks left for the summer next year.

We have a neighbor down the road who is a gifted photographer, capturing life on and around Golden Lake. He captured the Northern Lights in action over the weekend over our basin. These are the prettiest months on the lake, for sure!

10 tons of fresh sand, and we have the biggest swimming beach in northern Indiana at a private residence. Perfect for grandchildren, kids and even adult adults who dislike to float and relax. We still have weekends open this fall and next summer still has five weeks open.

It’s time to replenish our beach! With the lake levels so low, it’s an optimal time to pile on another 10 tons of sand!

Every guest stay is preceded by custom cleaning that includes raking the beach, cleaning off the goose p**p off the deck, raking the fire pit, mowing/trimming, and making sure the inside of the house is squeaky clean. Our property manager, Carrie, has earned consistent five star reviews For many years now. 5⭐️

What makes our place unique is the size of the bedrooms, the massive deck with a view of the lake, and a double wide lot that allows you peace and quiet to rest and relax. Plus almost the entire shoreline is a beach for easy access for swimming kayaking, and stand-up paddle boards.
