Do you ever get a feeling in your gut things are about to change and things will never be the same? Not necessarily good or bad—but just different?

Earlier this year, I had that feeling when it came to the one who made me a Mom. We knew college graduation was only months away and with that, of course, can mean all sorts of life changes such as the beginning of a career, more schooling, moving, etc. I wanted to make memories with her before life changed even more. And wouldn’t you know it, her and her boyfriend recently got engaged!

I’m beyond grateful to have been able to take her away, make some memories, and celebrate all the things. We even got to spend her birthday on beautiful Isla Mujeres earlier this week.

Take the trip. Make the memories. You will not regret it.

Performing a quick wellness check for us parents! How are we all doing? Have we sat down or gotten a decent night’s sleep since April? 😂

May is so incredibly busy. End of the year things planned at school, concerts, spring sports, and of course graduation ceremonies and parties. We proudly watched our oldest graduate from Iowa State University a couple of weeks ago!

Remember to take care of you. It may not be possible to do all the things or attend every grad party, and that’s okay. If you’ve found May has been more about survival, caffeine, and calendar reminders it may be time to reach out and plan that next getaway. Let’s start planning!

Worried the kids won't have enough to do in destination? We got you. During our recent agency trip to Punta Cana, we explored resorts offering everything from Kids Clubs and arcades to water slides and relaxing lazy rivers--helping families create the perfect mix of fun and relaxation.

Three of the four of us here at Relax Enjoy Travel traveled to the Dominican Republic a couple of weeks ago and were able to meet with and tour several resorts in the area. Tara, Amy, and I came home with a lot of new information and are beyond grateful to have these learning opportunities.

Always learning for our clients—and sometimes also taking advantage of cute photo ops in the process 😉

This patio + oceanfront swim-up + turquoise water was EVERYTHING 🤩

Completed a second full day of site inspections yesterday. Huge thanks to my agency owner for making these opportunities possible and to all the great resorts we visited for educating us and taking the time to show us around their beautiful properties. Being able to visit in person is truly invaluable for many reasons, but one of the most important is making sure a resort is the right fit for our clients. Not everything online is accurate and as we experience the “behind the scene” things onsite, we may find one choice to be absolutely perfect for one client but not for a different client. You can trust us to find that perfect spot for YOU.

Wishing you would've gone somewhere for Spring Break after seeing all of those social media posts? It's not too late to get something in the works for later this spring or early summer! Due to Spring Break having higher pricing and higher occupancy percentages, I personally prefer to travel during non-peak times for a more enjoyable experience anyway. Let's start planning!

If you were asked which amenities or features were most important to you while in destination, what would you say? This adults-only infinity pool overlooking the ocean, mountains, and palm trees was a favorite hangout for us last month. It was the perfect combination of relaxation and beautiful scenery.
