Come take a quick look inside the Silver Junior Suite at Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya.

This adults-only resort is one we book a lot, and for good reason. It’s lush, beautiful, lively without feeling over-the-top, and there’s a lot happening across the property.

Your book club already picks the next book. What if you picked the next destination, too? 📚☀️

During my visit to ATELIER Playa Mujeres, I loved the coffee shop and spotted a few cozy places where I could picture settling in for a good book discussion.

Then I found the “Take a book, take a moment” sign. They were speaking my language. 😂

Picture this: a morning coffee and a few chapters, an afternoon reading by the beach or pool, then meeting up with your book friends to talk about that ending.

No rushing home to start dinner. No squeezing the conversation into an hour. Just time to read, relax, and enjoy being together.

Thinking about a Cancun-area beach vacation? This is worth watching before you book.

This video was recorded in October, during our recent resort inspection trip through the Cancun area.

Our team visited more than a dozen resorts from Tulum all the way to Isla Mujeres, and along the way we captured the beach conditions in 8 different areas.

One of the biggest takeaways? Cancun-area beaches are not all the same.

Beach quality can vary quite a bit depending on location, weather, currents and seasonal sargassum. October can bring some of the more challenging conditions in certain areas, while winter and early spring often look very different — although beach conditions can never be guaranteed.
That’s why where you stay matters.

We love this region, but understanding the differences between Tulum, Riviera Maya, Cancun, Costa Mujeres and Isla Mujeres can make a big difference in choosing the right resort for your trip.
