In the heart of Anna Maria Island, the beloved Rod & Reel Pier has stood tall for nearly 80 years—offering locals and visitors stunning views, fresh seafood, and memories that last a lifetime. But recently, damage from Hurricane Helen & Milton left this cherished landmark in need of serious repairs. 💔

The good news? The community is coming together to rebuild this beloved pier, and it will return stronger than ever! 🛠️ While the Rod & Reel Pier may be temporarily closed, the spirit of Anna Maria Island remains vibrant. Plans are underway to restore this iconic spot to its full glory—and YOU can be a part of this exciting journey!

More great news, another of our wonderful island businesses back open! Just what the Doctor ordered...!

And just like that the Doctor's Office will be opening Friday evening at 5pm! Two hurricanes in two weeks, our second time re-opening, and Sean and team have been working nonstop once we were allowed back on the island. Come on in, we'd love to see you, we have power again and ice and yes, there will be some . The weather is stunningly beautiful, and the Doctor's Office Garden will also be a delightful place to enjoy an evening cocktail. We all on the island still have a lot of work ahead of us, but Friday will be a great evening to gather, take a breath, and clink our glasses together that we're all still here.

The power is back on at Slim’s Place! We’ll be opening back up tomorrow! We’ll be open 11:30am - 5pm. Free Cheesesteaks, Hot Dogs, and Chicken Sandwiches while supplies last! Anna Maria Island strong!

Having now been allowed back on the island, we are now in the midst of the clean-up following the hit of Milton last week. We have been able to access both Mintfish and Limefish and are blessed that Milton did not do any further damage than what was sustained by Helene. This means that the work is now continuing at Mintfish and we are able to continue the outside clean-up of Limefish, with the inside having remained unscathed through both events.

The island community has made exceptional progress on the extensive clean-up, so much so, that businesses are already starting to open back up, which is incredible news. We will continue to share content from those businesses to help keep you informed of what’s up and running.

And we will of course continue to share the progress updates of Limefish and Mintfish and liaising closely with those guests that have booked vacations in either home through November. And we should be in a position to open our calendars for bookings again soon.

Thank you again, we have been overwhelmed by the support for Anna Maria Island.

We can’t wait to see you all again very soon!
