As we celebrate 250 years of American independence, we're grateful for the freedoms we enjoy and the opportunity to spend time with the people who matter most.

Whether you're gathering in the backyard, grilling with neighbors, watching fireworks, or simply relaxing at home, we hope you have a safe and memorable holiday weekend with family, friends, and your pets.

With Maryland experiencing an extreme heat wave this holiday, please take a few extra precautions:
☀️ Stay hydrated.
🐾 Keep pets cool and make sure they have plenty of fresh water and shade.
🌳 Take breaks in the shade or air conditioning whenever possible.
💙 Check in on elderly family members and neighbors.

Many local communities have shortened or postponed Fourth of July events because of the dangerous temperatures, so if your plans have changed, take it as an opportunity to slow down, stay cool, and enjoy time together.
