Sometimes the best plan is no plan at all. 🌲🍂

Fall is starting to make an appearance in Langlade County, with the first hints of color showing along the trails.

Hop on the ATV or UTV, pack a sweatshirt, and spend the day exploring. Stop somewhere local for lunch, take in the changing scenery, and make a full day of hitting the trails.

The colors are just getting started, which means there is plenty more to come!

Healthy aging is about staying strong, independent and connected to the resources that can help along the way.

The Senior Center of Langlade County and Promise Physical Therapy & Wellness are teaming up for the Healthy Aging Expo on Tuesday, September 22, 2026!

This FREE community event brings together local professionals for educational presentations, health screenings, helpful resources and practical information focused on healthy aging and fall prevention.

Whether you are planning for yourself, helping a loved one or simply want to learn more about staying active and independent, there is something here for you.

There’s something special about a fall morning in the countryside!

The Northwoods Tractor Club invites the community to a Fall Wagon Ride & Farm Tour on Saturday, September 26, 2026. The ride departs at 10 AM from the Northwoods Tractor Club property, W8584 Hwy 64, just east of Antigo.

Climb aboard for a scenic ride through the countryside, with a stop for a tour of Hyland Lakes Farm along the way. Bring the kids, enjoy the crisp fall air, and spend the morning experiencing a little bit of farm life and rural Langlade County!

The ride is expected to return around noon.

Come together for an afternoon of connection, support, remembrance, and plenty of family fun!

The 4th Annual Unity in the Community is happening Saturday, September 19th from 2 pm to 6 pm at the Heinzen Pavilion in Antigo.

This free event brings our community together to raise awareness about substance use and recovery, reduce stigma, connect people with local resources, and remember those whose lives have been lost to addiction.

More than 30 local organizations will be there, along with free meals provided by All Sauced Up - Northstar Lanes on the Road, bouncy houses, face painting, a magician, raffles, a cake walk, kids’ activities, and the always fun SLIME BAR!

Come for the fun, make some connections, and help build a stronger, more supportive community.

💜 WALK TO END ALZHEIMER’S 💜

This Saturday, September 19th, our community will come together for the annual Walk to End Alzheimer's - Antigo at Antigo Middle School.

The event opens at 8:30 am, followed by a special ceremony at 9:30 am honoring those impacted by Alzheimer’s. The walk begins at 10:00 am, with a 2-mile route through Antigo and a shorter route available for those who prefer it.

But this walk is about so much more than the miles.

We walk for a parent. A grandparent. A spouse. A friend. A caregiver. For someone we miss, someone we love, and for the hope of a future without Alzheimer’s.

Everyone has a reason for taking those steps. 💜 Who do you walk for?

UPDATE: Due to the upcoming weather on Saturday, this event has been moved to Saturday, September 26, 2026.

Looking for a forever friend? This Saturday might be your lucky day! 🐾❤️

Dogs from the Langlade County Humane Society will visit The Kove Antigo on Saturday, September 19th, from 9 am to noon, and The Kove is sponsoring ALL adoptions that day!

Even if you’re not ready to adopt, stop by to meet the pups, give them some love, and treat them to a pup cup. The Kove will also have food, drinks, bakery goodies, and raffle items available, with all proceeds benefiting the Langlade County Humane Society.

Come for a coffee, stay for the puppy kisses, and maybe head home with a new best friend! 🐶
