I was honored to receive an invitation to the Six Flags Great America 50th Anniversary ribbon-cutting ceremony.
My time at Great America in the Shows Department was among the most impactful years of my life. I met my lifelong best friends, learned how to lead teams, solve problems on the fly, manage schedules strategically, train under top-tier creatives, and develop a passion for hospitality.
Since my time at SFGA, I’ve been a bridesmaid in full Six Flags weddings, traveled coast to coast with coworkers who became family, and built a network that extends internationally.
It was the place I wanted to be even on my days off because I couldn’t stand missing out on the fun. It was the place where my mom and grandma could feel like kids again and spend all day watching the shows, the place where I had my second date and took my first ever picture with my partner, and the place I hope to make many more core memories for years to come!
