Got the W at this past Anglers choice event on a tough Fox Chain.

Weighed in 13.02 to sneak away with the win.

Caught a decent bag early that would’ve put us in the top 3 but a couple good decisions late led to two culls that got us the dub.

Caught em all the fun ways you can and had a blast fishing with my buddy Kris Dus. Congrats to the homies Jason and Matthew for cashing a 3rd place check as well, boys ate good.

Done well in a handful of Fox Chain events the past couple years but incredibly satisfying to finally get it done!

Amazing group of sticks and a tough but super fun fishery.

🎣The 2nd and 3rd Anglers Choice events of the year are in the books!

Had a discouraging practice on lake Geneva, seemed like every fish I caught was about 3lbs.

The post spawn deal was somewhat there, but I didn’t get enough to truly convince myself to lean fully on it derby day. Only found a few worthwhile bedders that weren’t even that great.

Caught our mid bag of 15lbs worth of bed fish right away in the morning and LUCKILY I had Kayla in the boat to Cull out 3 of those fish for me with largemouth!

Not the best outing but without Kayla in the boat it would have been a complete disaster, thanks for carrying the team and getting us to 18th out of 38 boats with 15.92lbs.

🎣Had a mild bounce back at the 3rd AC on the Fox Chain.

Not much to say specifically about this day besides it felt good to finally make proper decisions that put us in a lot of the right areas at the right times.

Caught a ton of keepers as we typically have been out there. We were finally able to anchor our bag with something decent thanks to Kris sticking a 3.88 that truly made the difference for us.

Fun day fishing without the iPads and happy to finish 4th out of 41 boats with 13.54lbs.

It is ALWAYS so much fun having Jacek in my boat. We have been on a ton of trips in the past year and watching him grow as an angler is what it is all about.

As I am trying to catch up on posts for dozens of trips the past month I thought one with Jacek needed to be posted! So many great days together on the water!

I got into guiding because it’s awesome seeing others experience something I love so dearly and gain that same passion and appreciation I have. I also love the educational aspect of guiding and teaching little techniques and approaches to fishing that make the whole difference.

Jacek is a perfect example of this! He is constantly asking all the right questions and growing more and more on our trips every time I see him. It’s the passion he gained for the sport that’s fueling his growth!

This trip we got into a multi species bite catching walleye, smallmouth and largemouth! Our best 5 went over 20lbs and we caught them on a host of different baits!

So appreciative of yall booking trips and creating so many memories on my boat of awesome days on the water!

These trips will take place on a variety of lakes and have options for both big smallmouth and largemouth depending on what you are looking for!

I focus my trips not only on putting a lot of big fish in the boat but also teaching the “what and why” of what we are doing! My goal is always for anglers to step off my boat with more knowledge and understanding of the fish we target!

I have fallen severely behind on posting trips on here 😅 That’s okay . Fishing and seeing my clients have a great time is what it’s all about not social media!

Mark and Ronnie had a KILLER day out on the boat with me the other day. With tons of boats staring down at bed fish we went to go chase some pre-spawn largemouth and CRUSHED EM!

We ended up landing 45 of them as well as a limit of walleye for them to take home and plenty of walleye released as well!

It wasn’t just the consistent bite all day, it was the size of fish we were on as well as our best 5 bass went over 22lbs on a whole pile of different baits!

All around a great day. The boys had a blast peeling into so many prespawn largemouth, got some walleye for dinner and stumbled into a handful of prespawn STUD smallies as well!

Appreciate yall booking a trip with me again, always a blast!!

Took 2nd place with 20.91 lbs at the first Lake Geneva Anglers Choice event of the year!

Hurts to fall just .09 shy of the win but happy to finish where I did in a field full of incredible fisherman.

Unexpectedly had to fish this one alone as Kayla woke up sick and wasn’t able to come stick em with me!

Felt good to have some good decision making and move into areas at right times all day. Started off on beds for the first hour, and with nothing going my way spent the rest of the derby fishing for prespawners.

It was a blast and the right call, caught bass all day long as well as an absurd amount of walleye too. Stumbled into my biggest prespawn geneva smallie of the spring along the way!

Couldn’t be more happy about my decisions this tournament, just need to fish cleaner going forward!

Congrats to everyone who cashed a check and appreciate the amazing competition this Geneva AC always brings, so many sticks fishing!
