Another Monday that began with tornado warnings ended with the most beautiful evening for a family session.

As thankful as we are for the calm skies we were given, our hearts go out to a community just a short distance away that wasn't as fortunate. They experienced a devastating tornado, and we're keeping everyone affected in our thoughts and prayers.

Days like this are powerful reminder that photographs are so much more than pictures. They freeze moments we never want to forget, celebrate the people we love most, and become memories we hold onto for years to come.

{Cayden • Class of 2027 • De Pere High School}

I am so glad we didn't cancel this session with what the weather was telling us all day! The forecast seemed to change by the hour—strong storms and plenty of uncertainty. Thankfully, we decided to take a chance, and it turned out to be the most perfect night.

It was a pleasure capturing this kind, smart, athletic, humble, and all-around stand-up guy. Cayden is definitely more of the serious type, but we managed to get a few smiles out of him along the way! Even though he plays for the school across the bridge, I'll still be cheering him on.

And if you ask him, he's especially excited for family pictures next week... 😂

When a family friend asked me to photograph their daughter's wedding, I was a little nervous. The last wedding I shot was nearly 10 years ago! But when they told me, "We trust you—just shoot with your heart," I knew I had to do it.

What a beautiful (and HOT!) day celebrating Mia and Ewan in the UP. One of the most special moments was seeing Mia wear her mother's wedding dress—a memory I'm so grateful to have captured.

These are just a few glimpses from their day, with so many more memories to come. Congratulations, Mia and Ewan! ❤️

If you've been following along for a while, you know we love kicking off summer with our annual sports pictures of my girls. We started this tradition when COVID hit and there were no team photos, and it has become one of my favorite days of the year.

My girls are so different, and wouldn't want it any other way. They are beautiful, strong, passionate, and work hard in everything they do.

Brynn – 15 years old
A dedicated dancer who pours her heart into every practice, performance, and opportunity. Her determination, grace, and passion continue to amaze us, and we love watching her chase her dreams.

Nora – 13 years old
A fierce competitor who never backs down from a challenge. Whether it's on the soccer field, football field, or basketball court, she gives everything she has and inspires us with her hard work, determination, and grit.

Here's to another summer of making memories, cheering from the sidelines, and watching these girls do what they love and maybe a little down time 🤞❤️

Last night was the perfect start to June, and I got to spend it with these beautiful girls. Three graduates from Kimberly High School and one from Menasha, all heading into different chapters of life.

So fun to capture their friendship. No matter where life takes them next, some friendships just stay with you.

Wishing these girls nothing but the best as they chase their dreams and begin their next adventure. ✨🎓

Meet Lina 💙🤍❤️

Lina is an exchange student from France who has spent the entire school year at West De Pere High School. From the very beginning, my daughter’s friends welcomed her right in, and she quickly became one of the group. She is one of the nicest, happiest, funniest, most positive (and sarcastic 😉) girls I know.

When she asked me if I would do an “America + Wisconsin” photoshoot before she heads home in 2 weeks, I was so honored. Cowgirl boots, an American flag, and a field — honestly the only things missing were a cow and some cheese. 🐄🧀🇺🇸

We got rained out a couple different days, which honestly just gave us more time together sitting in the car waiting out the rain, listening to stories and hearing the nonstop giggles coming from the backseat with my daughter.

Lina — you are going to be truly missed by so many families and friends here. Your friendship has meant the world to these girls, and we can only hope someday we make it to France to see you again.
