Today we visited the Royal Gorge Bridge, high above the Arkansas River, in Canon City. Many of our group members rode the Gondola across the gorge, two brave ladies ziplined, and some walked on the bridge. Then we enjoyed a train ride and lunch on the Royal Gorge Railroad. The scenery, river, rock formations, and wildlife were amazing!

Another fun day in Colorado Springs! We watched skydivers, planes, and gliders at the Air Force Academy Air Field. Afterwards we visited the new Hosmer Visitors Center at the North Gate of the Air Force Academy. In the afternoon we rode the Pikes Peak Cog Railway from Manitou Springs all the way to the summit of Pikes Peak at 14,115 feet. It was cold and windy with snow flurries when we arrived but the views were amazing!

Colorado Springs 2026! We had a great day touring Garden of the Gods and the US Olympic and Paraolympic Training Center. We topped off our day with a delicious Chuckwagon dinner at the Flying W Ranch and wonderful music by the Flying W Wranglers.

Texas Showcase-Waco! We enjoyed a step-on guided tour of Waco. Our guides, Mathew and Melinda from Waco Tours, gave us lots of great information and were a lot of fun! We visited Magnolia Silos (Chip and Joanna Gaines of Fixer Upper fame) for lunch and shopping and toured the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum.

We enjoyed our day in Texas Hill Country! In Fredericksburg we visited the National Museum of the Pacific War and Wildseed Farms. Our final stop was in Luckenbach known for its live music and laid back atmosphere.

We had a fun day in San Antonio! We started with a trolley tour of the city, then made our way to the Alamo. Lunch was enjoyed at Mi Tierra Cafe in the Historic Mexican Market. We had a shopping stop at the SAS (San Antonio Shoes) General Store and ended our day with a Riverboat ride through the pretty Riverwalk area on the San Antonio River.

Texas Showcase! Today we visited the beautiful Painted Churches of the Schulenburg, Texas area. These Catholic Churches have amazing histories and breathtaking interiors.
