It has been a while. This spring has been the most challenging I have seen. Caught some really nice fish but the numbers were down. Everything was early with March being so warm.. Even the DNR had trouble getting enough fish for the state stocking program. Something I will talk about later.

Today we saw fish in locations we normally see in May. The topwater bite has been pretty good. Hopefully it will be consistent for the next few weeks.
